I started building Beanvest after using Google Spreadsheets to track my investments for a while and noticed it started being very slow. As I could not do everything in it, I started using multiple tools for keeping track of my stock portfolio. Many were not very nice to use, and none of them fully fitted my needs especially to track my performance, so I started building Beanvest as a tool for myself.
